The 18G AGAINI needle is 50mm long allowing deep penetration of spore solution into jars and bags alike. 18G is the thickness of this needle and is thinner than the standard needle sold with most spore syringes. The slim needle allows for a slower more measured injection of the spore solution. 
 
The needle and the Syringe being Luer-lock will screw firmly together to make sure the needle stays in place when you need it too.
